Day Hike of A-Basin on 11-Sep-05
The spring splash pond. I am rather suprised that the bugger still has water. It was rather dry in Denver over the summer. I really expected this tiny pond to be bone dry. I have fond memories of this place on closing day, and the snowboarders & skiers trying to hydroplane over this pond. Most made it. About 15% didn't make it. Chilly boots!
