Day Hike of A-Basin on 11-Sep-05
Goal two of my two goal hike at the "Basin. I have seen this plaque riding up the Pali lift at the basin for years. The lift isn't close enough to give you a chance to read the damn thing. Well, I decided to walk down and see (and photograph) it. All I can say is I will not be walking down a double diamond run ever again. It eats 48 year old legs. If you are riding the Pali lift at the basin and see the plaque, this is what it says. K! Hope you enjoyed my walk-a-about at the Basin. Next time my legs are there, they will have skis at the end of them, and I will be on top of snow. To the 05/06 season. Hope to see ya there.
