Eldora, 13-Dec-04
Since my birthday in 2004 is Saturday, December 18, I took off the week of December 13-17 to get in some mid week skiing. While I am editing this on Wednesday, December 15, I hit Eldora (Just west of Boulder Colorado) on Monday the 13th. It has been something like 20 years since my last visit there. It used to be the norm for me to go there on December 31, for their "ski into the new year". On that date, they ran this lift until 12:15, January 1. For me, that first run of the new year had to be flawless, as I felt it set the trend for the remaining of the year. Anyway, I will ramble on with my memories in successive pictures.
