Keystone, 19 December 2005
This is where my story for this year begins. Last year, my retracto string broke. I documented that last year. I was really bummed. Well, as you can see, I made it through a day at Keystone this year, and still have my passes. That white nylon rope will make sure they stay with me for this season. Today was my first use of my A-Basin Bonus 5 pass at a bonus area. The Bonus 5 pass gives the holder unlimited days at A-Basin, and 5 days at Breck or Key (One day can be used at Vail or B-Creek, I plan to use that day tomorrow at BC). Just like last season, I am creating this section in Dillon, in my Motel. So here I am drinking a beer, writting this so all 6 or 7 of you can read it. Hey, this site is for my getting old failing memory. I turned 49 yesterday. Happy birthday to me. Even better, merry skiing to me. Day one was just fine.
