So, my first real picture for this section is a look down the old St. Johns lift line. Like last year, two towers remain. The last of this Yan lift (TCS, are you watching?). I recal this to be a 15 to 17 minute ride. Wish it was running for one final year, I would loved to timed it. The lines used to be in the 20 minute range. Today, I got in a discussion on how the HSQ's don't clear a lift line any faster than a FGQ. [Glossary: HSQ=High Speed Quad, FGQ=Fixed Grip Quad). Well, Colorado state law says that you have to space a chair no closer than six seconds apart. So, If you are going to pull people out of line 4, every 6 seconds, and haul them either slow or fast up the hill, the result is the same, 40 people per minute on their way back up, well, unless there is a dweebfest at the top/bottom. Anyway, my legs used to dangle up this cut.
